Financial Resources
Financial Resources includes any STEM-related service, opportunity, or project that provides a monetary incentive such as a scholarship or stipend. Some STEM programs cost money in order to register or participate. Typical financial support for participation in STEM Pipeline programs ranges from several hundred dollars to defray the cost of participating in day-long programs to several thousand dollars for longer-term experiences. This would include summer-long paid research experiences under the direction of university professors and large graduate research assistantships that pay for graduate education and research. In this category you will also find opportunities to apply for grants that a STEM pipeline program may offer.
